These are all of the commissioned and gift portraits that I have done between 2004-2009. I work mainly in acrylic paint but can also work in oil. I can work from a live model or a photograph.

The Fugue State paintings are essentially all of the imaginative paintings I have done between the years 2002-2008. I have grouped them as a series.

I started off with Tara- the Border Collie. Then I was invited to show some pet art for an exhibition and so I created the dozen or so others. There is nothing sweeter than a tribute painting to a dear pet.

Begun in January 2009, the idea was to produce a fictitious portrait based on each month of the year. Here is the result of that project in full vivid colours.

This gallery includes other paintings that I did as gifts or commissions that were not portraits. Similarly all the work was done between 2004-2009 with the exception of the Domenican Republic painting which was a good deal earlier.

The above 4 galleries leave out a lot of the work that I did between 2000-2004. This represents the best of that period. I was still trying to feel my way around a style- and I think it shows- but the work tends to be more eclectic in nature (if not quite thematically united).
